WHO WE ARE WHAT WE DO
We are
a group of families with at least one kid (scout- boy or girl) between the ages of 5 and 10 years old
a group who enjoys meeting weekly to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, help the community, play games and support one another
the elementary version of Boy Scouts of America (Scouts BSA)
We teach
outdoor skills
life skills
good morals and behavior
civic duty
the importance of trying your best even if you don't get it right
loyalty, helpfulness, cleanliness, kindness, cheerfulness, courtesy, thrift, bravery, trust, reverance, obedience and friendliness
We do
go camping
build campfires
safely shoot BB guns, and bows
safely whittle with a pocket knife
build & race rockets, boats and derby cars
visit places in our community like firestations, police stations, construction sites, innerspace caverns, local parks and more
explore STEM concepts through demonstrations and hands on experiements
create a bond among scouts
play games
so much more...
but most of all, we have FUN!
