WHO WE ARE WHAT WE DO

We are

• a  group of families with at least one kid  (scout- boy or girl) between the ages of 5 and 10 years old

• a group who enjoys meeting weekly to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, help the community, play games and support one another 

• the elementary version of Boy Scouts of America (Scouts BSA)

We teach

• outdoor skills

• life skills

• good morals and behavior

• civic duty

• the importance of trying your best even if you don't get it right

• loyalty, helpfulness, cleanliness, kindness, cheerfulness, courtesy, thrift, bravery, trust, reverance, obedience and friendliness

We do

• go camping

• build campfires

• safely shoot BB guns, and bows

• safely whittle with a pocket knife

• build & race rockets, boats and derby cars

• visit places in our community like firestations, police stations, construction sites, innerspace caverns, local parks and more

• explore STEM concepts through demonstrations and hands on experiements

• create a bond among scouts

• play games

• so much more...

but most of all, we have FUN!
