Rockets in the Park

September 03, 2022

What a blast!! We had rockets everywhere. Estes Gnome rockets so high you'd loose track of it for a second. Water Rockets getting the launcher wet. Stomp Rockets to test the power of your stomp. Chemical "engines" inflating baloons!

Rock-N-River Splash Night

July 30

Ohh what a splash! About half the pack came out to cool off from this oppressive heat together. Kids and adults alike enjoyed water slides, pools and the lazy river with great friends.

Webelos Extreme Adventure Camp for our 4th & 5th graders

July 6th-9th 2022

This year 6 of our scouts decided to go this fantasticlly fun summer camp at Lost Pines Scout Reservation. This camp is made just for the Webelos level scouts. It pushes them a little farther in their camping than they usually get with cub scout camping. The activities are samples of things they will get to do when the crossover into Scouts BSA (11y-18y).

Hike & Fish Days

July & August 2022

Our pack teams up with multiple units in the area to provide 1 hike and fish day each month of the summer. This year our June day got canceled because of the only day of rain we have had all summer, lol. In July we hiked from Chataqua Park to Blue Hole Park where we fished for an our before heading back. It was mighty hot even though it was only 9am, but everyone had a good time. We have had some older scouts come out to help the cubs with their fishing as part of a merit badge requirement!

4th of July Parade

July 4th, 2022

For the first time we had the privladge to participate in the Round Rock Sertoma 4th of July parade. Some of the pack was availbe to participate in this city wide event. Our assistant cubmater decorated his truck with flags and drove our scouts around. The scouts go to toss candy to the spectators. We look forward to participating again next year.

Pack Graduation

May 9, 2022

Our last pack meeting of the school year! Most of our scouts received their rank patches and all graduated to the next rank. Congratulations scouts!!

Community Clean Up

May 7, 2022

Ever see that person who picks up litter when they see it? We help form those kinds of people with our semi-annual trash pickup days. This time we chose to clean up the area at Medow Lake park. We had several scouts come out and collect over 10lbs from trash in 45 min!!!! Bonus: a neighbor cam to the park and brought their pet snake. After all that fun the scouts launched water rockets to cool down!

Pack Spring Campout

April 2022

We overnighted at a local camping spot where the kids and adults had a blast. Each den helped in preparing meals and cleaning up. Beautiful hike with a stop by the ampitheater for jokes. Hilarious campfire (no actual fire due to burn ban) and great fishing! Many good memories were made.
