End of Year Party- December 16, 2023  Carnival time! Full on pot luck and diy carnival cheer we ended the year celebrating our achievements and fundraising efforts. 

November  11, 2023- American Legion Post 447 We were honored to work with HEB to serve lunch and gift bags to our local veterans at our charter organization, American Legion Post 447 in Round Rock. 

November  9, 2023- Red Bud Ele

Our scouts were invided to join Mrs Stephanie and the Girl Scouts of America to present a flag ceremony in honor of our veterans. Our scouts rose to the occasion and presented the colors beautifully in front of the whole school and visitors.

October 22, 2023- River Ranch Park

The pack gathererd up and went out to a Williamson County Park for some time in nature. We all hiked, learned more about the american flag and played some fun games. Our older scouts got to work on their campfire and cooking skills. The pinnicle of this campout was an American Flag retirement and recoginition of our scouts who earned their Bobcat badge.

September 9, 2023- Johnson Space Center

40 of us made the trip to Houston, TX to visit the Johnson Space Center and NASA. We saw awesome videos, made star maps, coded robots, searched for specif space artifacts, touched mars and saw the only space ready Saturn V Rocket up close! When the day was done we got to sleep under the Space Shuttle Independance. A memory we shall never forget.

August 26th, 2023- Old Settlers Park

Our scouts got to explore rockets powered by 3 different methods...water pressure, air pressure with a trigger release and sudden air pressure (stomp). What a blast! In between launches they got to explore the science behind chemical reactions that cause air pressure to build up.

August 5, 2023- Old Settlers Park

We made various types of boats and raced them to see what modifications worked best. We also enjoyed the playscape and yard games.

July 29th, 2023- Rock-N-River Waterpark

A group of us met up for an unoffical event at Rock-N-River waterpark to enjoy some cool water and warm friendship.

May 6th, 2023 - Paloma Lake Fish Camp

Our scouts gathered and walked the park and hiking trail picking up between 30 and 35 pounds of trash!!

March 26th, 2023 — Old Settlers Park

Our 5th grade scouts finished their time in Cub Scouts and crossed over to Scouts BSA Troop 151. They were welcomed with open arms by the top and the OA chief. After receiving their new regalia they celebrated with a trip to Austin Parks and Pizza

March 25th, 2023

The pack joined the Capitol Area Council at Stemboree for our spring campout. The kids all got to participate in shooting sports, work on NOVA badges and adventures, have fun with science and end the night with a large telescope. Some of the scouts favorite activities were building a volcano, sussing out false space facts, observing the Orians nebula and making a glowing reaction.

February 25th, 2023— St John Vianney PAC

“Here’s your ticket. Stick to it, Harry that’s very important. Stick to your ticket.” Everyone entered Hogwarts and learned some magic to celebrate the birthday of scouting. Everyone had a magically fun time.

As always the cubs and parents had a lot of fun racing their handmade pinewood derby cars.

Our 5th grade Arrow of Light scouts went and camped at DVSP. They had a wonderful time hiking their way around the park observing nature and evidence of dinosaurs!
